SUN/SURYA

Reciting of Harivansh purana and throwing copper coins in river on Sunday. Fast on Sunday.

MOON/CHANDER

Fasting on Monday. Praying to Lord Shiva.

Donating milk, rice, silver and pearl to poor person.

MARS/MANGAL

Fasting on Tuesday. Reciting HANUMAAN CHALISA .offering sindoor to LORD HANUMAAN. Throwing masoor dal in water.

MERCURY/BUDH

Fasting on Wednesday. Throwing green vegetables and copper coins in river. Donate clothes and green bangles to eunuchs.

BRIHASPATI/JUPITER

Fast on Thursday. Reciting of GARUDA PURANA. Offering water to peepal tree and plants with yellow flowers. Donate yellow clothes to poor.

SHUKRA/VENUS

Fast on Friday. Offer itar, white flowers and sweets prepared with milk in Shiva’s temple. Donate curd, milk, white clothes to a Brahmin.

SHANI/SATURN

Fast on Saturday. Offer liquor to BHARION in his temple. Offer oil to Shani Dev in his temple. Feed roti or bread with mustard oil to dogs n crows.

RAHU/DRAGON HEAD

Donate masoor dal to sweeper. Do “Tula daan”.

Worship Saraswati.

KETU/DRAGON TAIL

Fast on Ganesh chaturthi.Worship Ganesha daily. Feeding black and white dog is recommended.
